UGE ACADEMIC HALF DAY WORKSHOP 2021: What’s New and Exciting
Come join us for this exciting half-day event! We will have a wide variety of speakers to update you on the latest news and changes to UGE. Some speakers are Dr. Gary Tithecott, Dr. Shannon Venance, Dr. Stephanie Horsley, Joe Lipsett & Dr. Sandra Northcott, plus many more. Please see the agenda for a full list!
Who Should Attend: All Faculty, especially those involved in UGE teaching, all DEN sites and Psychiatry Residents.
Overall Learning Objectives
1. Appreciate the current and future direction of Undergraduate Medical Education at Schulich;
2. Become aware of the opportunities for staff and residents to be involved in UGE and the changes in curriculum delivery and assessments;
3. Become familiar with the changes in teaching and assessment tools with the CBME transition and of the resources available for students and staff during the CBME transition;
4. Recognizing challenges related to student wellness and become familiar with the available resources to address them;
5. Recognizing academic student challenges and become familiar with the available resources to address them;
6. Become familiar with the resources available for online teaching.
